PERSONAL ART COMMISSIONS
TERMS OF SERVICE

After filling out the Google Form, I will send out an invoice that must be paid in full before receiving an email (unless there are matters to discuss beforehand).
If the commissioned artwork is for commercial use, a 100% fee will be added to the final price.
Example: Half-body, simple style $95 + extra character $30 = $125 + 100% = $250
Commercial use includes (but is not limited to):
- Use by influencers on social media (YouTube, VTubers, etc.)
- Selling prints or using in merchandise
- Any other for-profit purposes
✅ I will draw
- Original Characters.
- Real people (with photo reference provided).
- Characters/ships from other media /fandoms that I’m not in or familiar with.
- Fantasy style characters (e.g. FFXIV, WoW, D&D characters, etc.).
- Anthropomorphic characters or other species (e.g. tabaxi, dragonborn).
- Yumeships/OC x Canon ships
- A little sexiness, boudoir, pin up, characters kissing.
❌ I will NOT draw
- Straight up NSFW
- Mecha/sci-fi art style (techwear is fine though)
- Realism (real people will be drawn stylized)
- Copying other's art styles
Requires 2 weeks at minimum. May possibly take up to 2 months if there is a long queue, but never more than 3 months.
You must pay a Character Design fee (100$USD) if you do not have any clear references for a character. We will take the time to discuss and sketch out what they look like before getting to the actual commission. The final result will be a cleaned up sketch, NOT a complete reference sheet (feel free to use and share the final sketches btw!)

BUT if your character is simple enough to draw with the use of some references/inspiration, I’ll omit the design fee :)

Communication for commissions is via email only.

I retain original copyright and ownership of the artwork, which includes redistributing, reproducing, advertising, displaying the commission on my websites, social media and portfolios. I have rights to repurpose unused process work for future projects, personal or otherwise.
You are free to use this for personal purposes, which includes:
- Sharing on social media
- Social media profile pictures/headers
- PC/phone wallpapers
- Personal website display
- Physical prints (that are not for sale)
If have need for other uses, please email me for clarification. Crediting is not necessary but appreciated. Just a “by samijen“ is fine :)
Any images including the sketches and final artwork must NOT be used for AI (Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning, AI/ML Training, NFT, blockchain or any for profit platforms or purposes, and in any future technology. Such usage will result in legal action taken.
- 100% refund if sketch has not started.
- 50% refund if in “Sketching” phase, but not finalized.
- No refunds will be provided beyond the final sketch being completed.
If I cannot complete the commission, I will provide a full refund.
By commissioning, you confirm you are at least 18 and above and agree to all of the terms of service as listed above.
You acknowledge the product is DIGITAL and there is no physically shipped goods to receive. Chargebacks are not permitted and the refund policy as mentioned before will be followed. The date for this agreement is upon the first inquiry/communication for the commission or upon the first transaction made.
